Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Atiyyah, the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), condemned Israeli aggressive practices against Palestinians and worshippers at Al-Aqsa mosque in the occupied Al-Quds, warning the Israelis of the repercussions of a plan to storm the holy mosque tomorrow, a move he considered as red line that harms the feelings of more than one billion Muslim people. In a statement, Al-Atiyyah demanded the world community to take its responsibility to curb the Israeli flagrant policy against the Palestinian people and their sanctuaries. He reiterated the stand of the countries of the GCC by the side of their Palestinian brethren to restore their legitimate rights including the establishment of an independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.
