U.S. stocks rose Wednesday, the Dow Jones industrial average rose 367.63, or 1.3 percent, to 27,847.66.
The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 74.28, or 2.2 percent, to 3,443.44.
The technology-heavy Nasdaq composite index rose 430.21, or 3.85 percent, to 11,590.78.
