RIYADH — The Saudi Electricity Company said the company has so far not recorded any deaths among its employees due to industrial accidents during the current year. Muhammad Shafee, acting chairman for industrial security sector at the company, blamed most accidents that did occur on contractors hired by the company. He said the SEC gave top priority to professional safety and health of its employees. “The SEC will cancel licenses of contractors who become cause accidents due to failure to abide by safety regulations,” Shafee added.
