NAJRAN — A man accused a hospital of killing his brother after he was severely injured in a car accident on Wednesday. Mohammad Al-Mutlaq said his brother was injured in a car accident along with other victims, of whom some died. He needed blood transfusions and the hospital did not have enough blood so they had to ask for the central hospital to transport some to them, he said. His condition was worsening and he needed to be transferred to another hospital but they did not have enough emergency vehicles, he claimed. “This negligence caused my brother to die,” said Al-Mutlaq. The head of the hospital said the patient suffered internal bleeding and was given blood. "The hospital asked for more blood from the central blood bank of the area just in case the patient needed more. The patient was under constant care but unfortunately the doctors were not able to save his life,” he said.
