Batsmen and bowlers shine in Sultan T20

RIYADH — The Prince Sultan T20 Cricket Tournament witnessed excellent performances by batsmen and bowlers during the fifth week matches.
Fine all-round performance by Feroz and Ahsan helped Maestro CC get the better of SACO CC by 6 wickets. Batting first, SACO made 104 runs. Kasim made 29 and Uday 26. Feroz took 4 wickets and Abdullah claimed 2. In reply, Maestro achieved the target in 8.5 overs. Feroz Khan hit 59 and Asif Mushtaq 31. Maqsood and Uday took 1 wicket each. Man of the Match: Feroz Khan.
Mazaya Hyderabad Boyz beat Victory-XI by 24 runs. Batting first, Mazaya Hyderabad tallied 216. Ismail and Fazil provided a solid opening start of 150. Ismail made 68 and Fazil 92. Nazar claimed 1 wicket. In reply, Victory-XI was restricted to 192. Farhan scored 68 and Nazar 55. Ismail grabbed 2 wickets. Man of the Match: Ismail.
Royal Fighters defeated Diamond CC by 32 runs. Batting first, Royal Fighters put on 213. Saad contributed 68 and Tauseef 44. Rehmatullah and Tayyab claimed 3 wickets each and Haider got 2. In reply, Diamond was bowled out for 181. Hyder hit 44 and Shajiuddin 61. Tawaf took 2 wickets. Man of the Match: Saad.
Run Riders got the better of Detecon Rising Stars by 5 wickets. Batting first, Detecon Rising recorded 158. Umer made 40 and Masood 39. Mehmood claimed 3 wickets and Wajahat 2. In reply, Run Riders hit the target in 17.2 overs through Rayees (24), Shakeel (29) and Mahmood (37). Zaid and Masood claimed 2 wickets each. Man of the match: Mahmood.
Black Caps beat Diamond-II CC by 87 runs. Batting first, Black Caps scored 180. Ashfaq and Nazim made 22 each, Kashif 20, Adnan 21 and Saeed 45.
Danesh and Sami took 2 wickets each. In reply, Diamond was bowled out for 92. Azhar top scored with 21. Irfan took 3 wickets, while Adnan and Zeeshan claimed 2 each. Man of the match: Adnan.
OSN Warriors thrashed Kokan Green by 9 wickets. Batting first, Kokan put on 172. Muzaffar hit 28 and Manoj 65. Fairoz claimed 3 wickets and Mazhar took 2. In reply, OSN Warriors achieved the target in 14 overs. Tahir slammed a splendid unbeaten century (103). Faizan contributed 43. Chandu claimed 1 wicket. Man of the Match: Tahir bin Jaffar.
The match between Riyadh Avengers CC and Game Pro CC ended in a tie. Batting first, Riyadh Avengers made 202 through Ahsan (35), Abubaker (54) and Aasif Sheikh (20). Mustafa, Basheer and Zakariya claimed 2 wickets each. In reply, Game Pro tried its best but fell by one run short for a win. Imran scored 40, Dilshad 36 and Imran Junior 66. Ahsan took 4 wickets, while Tasadduq and Amjad took 2 wickets each. Man of the Match: Ahsan.
Riyadh Fighters got the better of Cricketers Club by 15 runs. Batting first, Riyadh Fighters tallied 202. Imran Younus scored 81, Omar 21 and Nusrat 46. Mushtaq claimed 2 wickets, while Abdullah, Amir, Wazeer and Nasir took 1 each. Man of the Match: Imran Younus.
Insaf CC beat Shaheen Strikers by 28 runs. Batting first, Insaf CC made 198. Ali hit 53, Abdullah 32 and Hamad 66. Kashif took 2 wickets. In reply, Shaheen Strikers managed 170. Shahzad made 52 and Aftab 35. Hadayat took 2 wickets. Man of the Match: Hamad.
Gujranwala CC defeated Pure Health CC by 95 runs. Batting first, Gujranwala scored 216 through Waqar (53), Amir (59), Afzal (24) and Ashraf (42). Mubashar took 2 wickets. In reply, Pure Health was bowled out for 121. Tabrez was the only batsman who showed some resistance with 65. Irfan claimed 4 wickets, while Hassan and Imran took 2 each. Man of the Match: Irfan.
