RIYADH — KFSH Blues and Sama Steel came out on top in the third round of matches in SAIB T20 tournament organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) here.
In the Al-Kharaj League, KFSH Blues defeated Shuraim by 8 wickets. Batting first, Shuraim posted 219 for 4. Ahsan smashed 95 and Waqas 38. In reply, KFSH Blues chased the target for the loss of two wickets in 17.1 overs. Nasir Abbasi blasted 105 off 43 balls. Irshad added 79.
Sama Steel downed Lahore Lions by 27 runs. Sama Steel scored 227 for 3 with Qaiser and Raja smashing 80 and 85, respectively. Lahore Lions could manage only 200. Raja picked up 4 wickets and Asif got 3.
In Hayer League, L'usine cruised to a 4-run victory over Tigers. L'usine piled up 223 for 7. Adeel scored 88 and Moazzam 55. Alvi and Sharaf took 2 wickets each. Tigers managed 219 for 9 in their allotted overs. Salish top scored with 59 and Shaveet hit 36. Moazzam picked up 4 wickets, while Adeel and Rustam bagged 2 each.
Grundfos beat Lahore Badshah Green by 5 wickets. Lahore Badshah Green put on 203. Zeeshan scored 79 and Khurram 31. Raheel claimed 3 and Waqas 2 wickets. Grundfos reached the target in 19.2 overs. Tahir played an outstanding knock of 100, while Saad and Zain contributed 28 each. Babar took 2 wickets.
Green Bangla humbled Bhera Tigers by 59 runs. Green Bangla collected 209. Said (76) and Mazhrul (62) scored fifties. Bhera Tigers were restricted to 150. Hossain picked up 3 wickets and Mithun 2.
Pasban defeated Fast CC by 35 runs. Pasban scored 186 with Fawad making 43 and Arshad 35. Fast was restricted to 151. Murad and Ali claimed 3 wickets each, while Zain and Noman took 2 each.
Riyadh Royals edged Aisco by 12 runs. Riyadh Royals racked up 174. Salman top scored with 50 and Shoaib 31. Amjad took 3 wickets and Anwar 2. Aisco scrambled to 162. Shehzad top scored with 45. Majid and Irshad scalped 2 wickets each.
