RIYADH — Saudi national team player Abdul Waheed smashed a stunning double century in round five of the RCA MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badshah Tournament here.
In the 40-over Al-Kharaj League, Pak Shaheen thumped Amir Holidays by a massive margin of 239 runs. Pak Shaheen posted 412. Abdul Waheed showed his class with a stunning double hundred.
He smashed 36 fours in his innings of 219. Faisal Khan added 71. Said and Ayaz grabbed 2 wickets each. In reply, Amir Holidays scrambled to a meager 173.
Kamran top scored with 52 and Samiullah managed 45. Abdul Aziz picked up 4 wickets and Atiq 2. CKK defeated Lahore Badshah by 17 runs. Batting first, CKK put on 314 for 8.
Nouman smashed a brilliant 161 and Najeeb 51. Shoaib and Asif shared 2 wickets each. In reply, Lahore Badshah was restricted to 297 with Abdul Wahab scoring 119 and Farman 57.
Basit bagged 3 wickets, while Nauman and Saud took 2 wickets each. In T20 Hayer League, Pak Eagles cruised to 123-run victory over Indian Strikers.
Pak Eagles piled up 208. Farooq and Shabir scored 41 each. Indian Strikers' batting failed and they could muster only 85. Wahid grabbed 3 wickets, while Shah Zamin and Farooq took 2 each.
Green Bangla downed Rawdah Heats by 49 runs. Green Bangla put on 250. Zakir blasted 92 and Amir 35. Rawdah Heats, in reply, were restricted to 201.
Riyadh Royals humbled Professor's-XI by 5 wickets. Professor's-XI collected 143. Shoaib took 3 wickets and Irshad 2. Riyadh Royals chased the required target in 18.1 overs.
Irshad and Fakher scored 51 and 46, respectively. Lahore Badshah Green was upset in a 7-run defeat by Bhera Tigers.
Bhera Tigers scored 148 with Ghazanfar top scoring with 50. Atif took 3 wickets, while Mirza and Sami got 2 each. Lahore Badshah Green was bundled out for 141.
Mirza hit 54. Hashim took 4 wickets and Salman 2. TBCC won against White Star CC by 18 runs. TBCC racked up 181. Sherif scored 62. White Star CC scrambled to 163.
Salam took 3 wickets and Cheriyan 2. Thales thumped Kashmir Strikers by 44 runs. Batting first, Thales posted 191. Shahid hit 45 and Behzad scored 37.
Wasim took 3 wickets, while Bazli got 2. Kashmir Strikers could manage only 147. Tariq made 30. Ali and Tabrez took 3 and 2 wickets, respectively.
Riyadh Fighters thrashed Pasban CC by 4 wickets. Pasban was bowled out for 197. Riyadh Fighters chased down the target in the 18th over for the loss of 6 wickets. Hameed recorded 60 and Nusrat 40.
