Shaheen Strikers, Sager shine in RCL Static Zone

RIYADH — Shaheen Strikers, Sager, PTI, Pure Health, Black Caps and Cricketers Club scored thrilling wins in RCL Static Zone T20 Cup here recently.
Shaheen Strikers beat Insaf CC by 7 wickets. Batting first, Insaf scored 135. Ali made 30 as no other batsman could stay on the wicket for long.
Amir took 3 wickets, while Shahzad and Imran claimed 2 each. In reply, Shaheen Strikers achieved the total for the loss of 3 wickets in 17.1 overs.
Shahzad Bashir remained unbeaten on 58 and Aftab added 56 not out. Imran bowled well and took 3 wickets. Man of the Match: Shahzad Bashir.
Sager CC downed Maestro CC by 30 runs. Taking the strike first, Sager put on 198. Wajid hit 86, Inam 11, Ziaurahman 20 and Naveed 26. Haashir, Abdullah and Asif took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Maestro could score only 168. Kasim made 29, Ashfaque Qureshi 22, Asif Mushtaq 20, Riyaz 17 and Jamal 15. Zakariya claimed 3 wickets, while Naveed and Salman took 2 each.
Man of the Match: Wajid. PTI CC beat Run Riders CC by 11 runs. PTI posted 174 with Noor Shad making 56, Aziz 36, Qadir Shah 28 and Sultan 18. Kamran bagged 3 wickets, while Samir and Mehmood took 2 each. Run Riders, in reply, could muster only 163. Shakeel added 29, Hasib 22, Samad 37 and Minhas 23. Khadir took 2 wickets and Inam 1. Man of the Match: Noor Shad.
Pure Health CC got the better of Chanar-XI by 7 wickets. Chanar scored 141 with Faiz scoring 20, Rashid and Muneer 17 each and Gul Draz and Jibran 16 each. Basheer and Tabrez scalped 3 wickets each.
Pure Health was home for the loss of 3 wickets in 19 overs. Feroz hit 33, while Tabrez and Qawi added 20 each. Barkat picked 3 wickets and Muneer 2. Man of the Match: Tabrez.
Black Caps thrashed Riyadh Pirates by 54 runs. Black Caps scored 228. Nazar Abbas smashed a magnificent century (104). Sana added 38 and Dinesh 25. Riaz, Yasir and Nadeem took a wicket each. Riyadh Pirates could score only 174, in reply. Yasir made 35, Sajid 30 and Nadeem 26. Zeeshan and Dinesh claimed 3 wickets each. Man of the Match: Nazar Abbas.
Cricketers Club downed NAZ by 15 runs. Cricketers put on 176. Zia-ud-Din made 29, Akram 22, while Ishfaq and Amir added 21 each and Asad 15. Fiaz bagged 2 wickets. In reply, NAZ could notch only 160 with Iftikhar making 40, Akeeq 33, Atif 22 and Ashraf 20. Mushtaq scalped 4 wickets and Ashfaq 3. Man of the Match: Mushtaq.
In other matches: Pak CC got the better of E&Y CC by 3 wickets (Man of the Match: Asad); Gujranwala CC beat Royal Fighters CC by 1 run (Man of the Match: Bilal); Mehran CC defeated Ever Green CC by 13 runs (Man of the Match: Mohammed Hussain); and OSN Warriors club got the better of Shaheen-XI by 73 runs (Man of the Match: Shakeel). — SG
