Hectic action in BSF-RCL T-20 Cricket Tournament

RIYADH — Riyadh Blues CC, National CC, Game Pro CC, Cybroam CC, Maestro CC, Black Caps and Mehran CC won their matches in the third round of the BSF T-20 Cricket Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket League (RCL) here recently.
Riyadh Blues CC defeated Indian Strikers by 2 runs. Batting first, Riyadh Blues made 182. Zafar played a magnificent innings of 60, while Rizwan scored 37 and Shehbaz 24. Anees of Indian Strikers took 3 wickets and Sunil 2.
In reply, Indian Strikers made a spirited chase but lost the match by 2 runs. Yashik made 52 and he was supported by Faiz (35) and Shaheen (33). Zain of Riyadh Blues took 3 wickets and Shaqib 2. Man-of-the-Match: Zafar.
National CC beat Royal Fighters by 5 wickets. Royal Fighters opted to bat first and made 147. Salman Khan and Noman of National CC took 2 wickets each, while Ejaz got one. In reply, National CC achieved the target in 11 overs. Ejaz top-scored with 59. Azeem hit 39 and Salman Khan 30. Man-of-the-Match: Salman Khan.
Batting first, Game Pro CC made 251 against Cricket Samarwa. Imran and Farhan made 65 and 64, respectively. Moizuddin scored 27 and Surjith 20. Hameed took 3 wickets and Aamir 2. In reply, Cricket Samarwa was bowled out for 167. Abu Bakar was the only batsman who played with confidence to make 61 with 10 boundaries. Majed took 3 wickets, while Moizuddin and Farhan got 2 each. Game Pro won by 84 runs. Man-of-the-Match: Farhan.
Cybroam CC won its match against Deccan Stars by 7 wickets. Batting first, Deccan Stars tallied 164. Nisar made 60 with 10 fours. Shaji and Tanzeel contributed 20 each. Atif Aslam, Mukhtar and Kamran Mirza took 2 wickets each. In reply, Cybroam hit the target easily as Zeeshan Haider hit 64, while Kamran Mirza and Adil Khan made 34 each. Shaji and Bashar claimed one wicket each. Man-of-the-Match: Kamran Mirza.
Maestro CC downed Kashmir Gymkhana by 2 wickets. Batting first, Kashmir Gymkhana recorded 167. Shabir Kanit played a magnificent innings of 77 with 13 boundaries. Shabbir Bhat made 21 and Mudassir Mir 17. Nashir Curtay claimed 3 wickets, while Sunil, Jamal, Imran and Abdullah Khan got one each. In reply, Maestro CC achieved the total in 19 overs. Umar Bashir made 32, Muneer 24, Ashfaque Qureshi 22, Imran Shaikh 16 and Nashir Curtay 16. Zafar took 2 wickets, while Shabbir Kahnit, Shabbir Bhat, Ashfaq and Aamir got one each. Man-of-the-Match: Nashir Curtay.
Batting first, Black Caps CC scored 192 against Mughal CC. Bilal Khursheed hit 63 with 6 fours and 4 sixes. Danish made 44. Qasim took 2 wickets, while Asghar, Khurram and Imran claimed one each. In reply, Mughal CC was bowled out for 157. Man-of-the-Match: Bilal Khursheed.
Mehran CC defeated Game Pro CC by 59 runs. Batting first, Mehran made 218. Assad Khan remained unbeaten on 81 with 12 boundaries. He was well supported by Alam Khan (64). Anwer Zeb scored 25 and Fakhar 19. Dilshad, Zikriya and Sharjeel took one wicket each. In reply, Game Pro was bowled out for 159. Shoaib and Sharjeel made 49 and 23, respectively. Fakhar of Mehran claimed 4 wickets, Ayyaz took 2, while Assad Khan and Mumtaz grabbed one each. Man-of-the-Match: Assad Khan.
