JEDDAH — My Care Hala, AOT and Crown Steel emerged victorious in the SCC Premier Cup sponsored by Saudi Cricket Centre and organized by Western Province Cricket Association (WPCA) here recently.
In the SCC Afternoon Level 5 tournament, Amir Sajjad of Hala White and Nasir Khan of Fuchs Alhamrani blasted centuries.
SCC Premier Cup
AOT thrashed Al-Ghamdi Cricket Stars by 197 runs. AOT racked up 250-5 with Hisham making 39, Faisal 26, Faiq 64 in 36 balls, Naeem Shah 35, Qaiser Lateef 33 not out and Zeeshan 29 not out. Imran Rasheed took 2-31 and Mustafa 2-49 and Usman Waraich one. Al-Ghamdi Cricket Stars, in reply, was bundled out for 53. Ali contributed 32, while other teammates failed badly.
Zeeshan grabbed 4-7, Imran Yusuf 2-6, Usman 2-17 and Faisal Iqbal 2-23. My Care Hala (MCH) trounced Hala Friends by 67 runs. MCH plundered 236-3 as Qamar Abbas scored 89 in 38 balls with 8 sixes and 7 fours. He added 95 with opening partner Abdulmajed (37).
Kashif Shafeeq remained unbeaten on 78 off 38 balls and Nasir hit 24. One wicket each was claimed by Wajahat Shah, Ali, Saleem and Zeeshan. Hala Friends could respond with only 169-9.
Zahid resisted and remained unbeaten on 80 in 41 balls with the support of Hassan Malik (19). Mohammed Taiyyab scalped 3-31, Jameel 3-41, Adnan 2-34 and Amjed one.
Crown Steel was declared winner against Pepsi Deccan Knights as they forfeited the match after scoring 130-7. Sohail slammed 58 in 35 balls and Ather 40. They added 74 for the second wicket to lift the total to 119-1. After that the team slumped to 130-7.
SCC Afternoon Cup
Marine Services won against APF by 3 wickets. APF posted 169-6. Hasanat hit 60 in 39 balls and Imran 43. They added 100 for the first wicket, while Saleem scored 27. Yasin claimed 2 wickets. Marine Services, in reply, reached 171-7 in 95 balls. Umair remained unbeaten on 37 and Ali made 38. Ali got 3-17 and Hasanat 2.
Fuchs Alhamrani defeated Hala International School by 8 runs. Fuchs piled up 195-7 as Nasir Khan blasted 113 in 56 balls with 6 sixes and 13 fours.
Aftab Malik took 2 wickets. Hala School, in reply, reached 187-7 but fell short by 8 runs. Anas Malik scored 43, Junaid Bacha 33, Aftab Malik 25 and Naseer 31. Hasan and Adnan claimed 2 wickets each.
Hala Academy Blue thrashed Thales Group by 8 wickwts. Thales Group tallied 150-6. Waqas smashed 79 in 43 balls and Amir Shahzad 31. Amir Sajjad took 2 wickets. Hala White stormed to 154 in just 63 balls with 8 wickets in hand.
Amir Sajjad smacked an unbeaten 109 in 38 balls with 6 sixes and 16 fours. He stitched together 115 for the unbroken third wicket with Abdulmoeed (8). Amjad took 2 wickets.
Jotun Paints tasted victory against Adil Taasan by 26 runs. Jotun Paints produced 142-8 through Sajid (30) and Shafeeq (32). Abdul Rehman scalped 3-32 and Hafeez 2. Adil Taasan responded with 116-6. Ali Malik made 27. Imran claimed 2 wickets. Limitless got a walk-over against Pak Eagles.
