Zultec, Crown, Dopco score wins

Dopco Stars, Zultec, My Care Hala and AOT GFC came on top in the respective matches in the Dopco Premier Cup, which is sponsored by Dopco Company and managed by the Western Province Cricket Association here.
My Care Hala beat Crown Steel by 20 runs. Batting first Hala made 268 through Rahat Ali (57), Waqas (56), Kashif (36) and Khurram Karamat (35). It lost five wickets for 23 runs to close at 268 all out. Shoaib Ali took 3-38, Abu Huraira 3-41, Aijaz 2-36 and Hammad one wicket.
Crown responded confidently as was sitting pretty at 153-3, but suddenly slumped to be all out for 248. Babar made 51, skipper Shafeeq added 76 and Hussain Bhatti resisting 38. Waqas Ausaf scalped 5-41, Faheem 2-45 and Yasir 2-52.
Zultec chased a huge target set by Usman Gems to win by four wickets. Usman piled up 340 as Moazzam Shoukat hit 73, Amir Sajjad 50, Zahid Bhatti 45, Imran Azam 54 and Asif 28. Javed Iqbal grabbed 3-47, Bilal 2-20, Jawwad two wickets, while Jawwad Sagheer and Shams bagged a wicket each. Zultec never in the hunt before the break went for the target with Abdullah Essa hammering a ton to remain unbeaten at 110 with Emaad hitting 38 to take their team to the winning target of 344 for six wickets. Earlier Jawwad made 58, Bilal Khan 48 and Ghayour Sajjad 35. Kashan took 2-30, Imran Sarwar 2-50 while Zahid Anwer and Moazzam claimed a wicket each.
In another close encounter Dopco Stars beat Asian Plastic Factory (APF) comprehensively. APF was all out for 277 with Niaz scoring 62, Saqib Butt 53, Wajahat 56, Nadeem Amin 47 and Imran Nasir 25. Shahbaz grabbed 3-62, Mehboob 2-35, while Riyaz and Ijaz finished with one wicket each. Dopco in reply lost wickets early to sit at 67-4, but skipper Shahbaz played a captain's innings to keep his team in the hunt with 34 required in 30 balls. Shahbaz made 92 with Ijaz contributing 50, Saif 24 and Ajmal 22.
AOT GFC humbled Mazco Eleven by 117 runs. AOT GFC put on 279 in 40 overs with Zeeshan scoring 86, Faiq Habib 63 and Ahsan 25. Akram took 3-50, Mohsin 2-33, Aamir Sardar 2-34. Mazco in reply was restricted to 162 with only Rashed Malik making 50, Aamir Sardar adding 28 and Arif Jutt 21. Faiq took 3-21, Zeeshan 3-31 as Shahzad, Qaiser, Nadeem Shah and Faisal grabbed a wicket each.
