Sajid and Waqar shine in AQCL

AL-QASSIM — Sajid cracked a brilliant century and Waqar grabbed 4 for 10 in the MoneyGram Cricket Tournament organized by Al-Qassim Cricket League (AQCL) under the patronage of Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC).
Al-Daulia outclassed Azad-XI by 9 wickets. Azad-XI piled up 198-9 through Said Nabi 46 and Kashif Butt 35. Wajid claimed 3 wickets, while Sajid and Ateeque took 2 each. Al-Daulia, in reply, crossed the victory line for the loss of one wicket as Sajid hammered an unbeaten 140 in 55 balls with 5 sixes and 20 fours and Ateeque supported him with 23.
Al-Fateh defeated Pak Madinah by 87 runs. Al-Fateh scored 249-4. Zahid (70 in 32 balls) and Nawaz (55) were the main scorers. In reply, Pak Madinah was bowled out for 162. Tabassum made 73 with 4 sixes and 5 fours, while Saud hit 21. Faisal grabbed 3 wickets, while Naeem and Sajid had 2 each.
Sialkot Satllions beat Tigers by 8 wickets. Tigers, batting first, posted 167-8 through Rasal 51 and Sumen 22. Iftikhar took 3 wickets and Shams 2. In reply, Sialkot Satllions scored the required runs for the loss of 2 wickets with 3 overs to spare. Ansar smashed 91 runs with one six and 13 fours as Abdul Razzaque scored an unbeaten 50.
Pak-XI Unayzah thrashed Choudhry-XI by 10 wickets. Choudhry-XI, batting first, was bundled out for 115. Sajid hit 41 and Rashid 18. Waqar chipped in with 4 for 10, Mian Ghaffar 3 and Dr. Raouf Jan 2. Pak-XI Unayzah made 116 without loss. Waqar, who had taken four wickets, slammed an unbeaten 67 in 52 balls and Abdulrehman remained not out on 21.

Shaheen CC defeated Al-Fateh. Shaheen CC 149 (Aamir 35, Noor Zaman 22; Naeem 3 wickets, Sajid 2). Al-Fateh 153 (Iftikhar 54, Nawaz 22; Babar and Noor one wicket each).
Sialkot Satllions thrashed Yamco by 63 runs. Sialkot Stallions 218 (Mubashir 71, Ansar 45, Abdul Razzaq 23; Saifurrehman 2 wickets). Yamco 155 (Fayaz 35, Niyaz 22; Izhar 4 wickets, Ansar 3, Mudassir 2).
Janbaz CC crushed Tiger-XI. Tiger-XI 150 (Joyal 66, Somen 22; Bilal 3 wickets). Janbaz CC won in 90 balls (Mudassir 36, Shahid 26; Rasal 3 wickets and Tapun 2). — SG
