Semis lineup set in RCA Riyadh Zone

JEDDAH — Pakistan Falcons, Royal Strikers, Kingdom Warriors and Nouman Gymkhana have advanced to the Riyadh Zone semifinals of American Express T20 Cup here.
Pakistan Falcons will play Royal Strikers, while Kingdom Warriors will face Nouman Gymkhana in the last four of the tournament being organized by Riyadh Cricket Association.
In the quarterfinals, Pakistan Falcons beat Grundfos by 24 runs. Pakistan Falcons put on 192-9. Tila Yousafzai top-scored with 63. Matiullah added 37. Raheel took 3 wickets, while Alwi claimed 2. Grundfos fell short by 24 runs. Yasser scored 85 and Alwi 25. Rizwan took 3 wickets, while Tila Yousafzai, Yasser, Matiullah and Hamza grabbed one wicket each. Tila Yousafzai was declared the Man-of-the-Match.
Royal Strikers beat Lahore Badshah Green by 32 runs. Strikers, batting first scored 191-5. Sunil Kulai played brilliantly and scored 102. Yashik Alangad added 41. Wasim took 2 wickets. Lahore Badshah Green was all out for 159. Subair Hassan bowled well and took 5 wickets, while Dileep bagged 2. Subair Hassan was declared the Man-of-the-Match.
Kingdom Warriors beat Imran-XI in another quarterfinal by 40 runs. Kingdom Warriors scored 180. Adil Khan hit 79, Zeeshan 37 and Sameer 23. Azmat took 3 wickets. Imran-XI, in reply, managed 140. Majed scored 39, Azmat 32 and Hazrat Hussain 31. Adil Khan and Farhan Rauf took 3 wickets each. Adil Khan was declared the Man-of-the-Match.
In the last quarterfinal, Nouman Gymkhana got the better of TBCC by 6 wickets. Batting first, TBCC scored 143-9. Faisal scored 40 and Cheriyan 36. Afzal took 4 wickets, while Amjad and Mudassar bagged 2 each. Nouman Gymkhana achieved the target in 14 overs. Afzal hit 60, while Izhar remained unbeaten on 48. Afzal was declared the Man-of-the-Match.
In Al-Qassim Zone matches, Sialkot Stallions beat Al-Fateh-XI. Al-Fateh scored 126. Ashraf hit 62. Mudassir grabbed 3 wickets. Stallions easily reached the target to claim the match. Kashif hit 33. Tanveer and Faisal bagged a wicket each.
Pak-XI Unaizah beat Friends-XI by 7 wickets. Friends-XI posted 162. Ghulam Farid scored 61 and Naveed 56. Arshad and Waqar took three wickets each, while Khawar bagged 2. Pak-XI Unaizah achieved the target in the 19th over. Shahzad 57, Arshad 45 and Abdul Rehman 33 were the main scorers. Izzat took 2 wickets.
Janbaz-XI beat Choudhary-XI. Batting first, Choudhary-XI scored 148. Tabassum hit 46 and Sajid 38. Shakir bowled well and claimed 5 wickets. Janbaz-XI reached the target in the 18th over. Tasaduq was the top-scorer with 50. Ateeq took 2 wickets.
In another match, Shaheen-XI beat Bangladesh Tigers. Taking the strike first Bangladesh Tigers scored 124. Aziz hit 23. Akram took three wickets. Shaheen-XI crossed the target in 13 overs. Aamir hit 44 and Akram 29.
