Ahsan, Irfan hit centuries in JCA

JEDDAH — Ahsan Masood of KAIA and Irfan of Saliheen hit tons while Al-Khulais, KAIA and Butt Sports scored wins in the 6th week matches of Division-I Morning League which is sponsored by MoneyGram under the auspices of Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC) and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA) here.
Butt Sports beat Saleheen by 78 runs. Butt Sports took the strike first and plundered 270 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. Junaid Butt remained unbeaten on 79, while Javed Butt hit 47 and Omar 47. Naveed took 1-28 and Samir 1-45. Saleheen was restricted to 192-8. Irfan hammered 102 off 37 balls (seven sixes and 11 fours). Bilal claimed 2-25, Iqbal 2-13 and Imran 2-33.
KAIA beat Pak Young by 27 runs. KAIA posted 232 for the loss of 7 wickets. Majid Riaz 65 off 39 balls, Ahsan Masood 100 off 46 balls and Farhan 12 were among the runs. Yasir claimed 3-42, Zafar 2-33. Pak Young could score only 205-5. Zafar 75, Bilal Hanif 46, Azmat 14 and Zulfiqar 19 were the main scorers. Ahsan Hasan picked up 2-28, while Nadeem, Majid, Riaz and Bilal had one wicket each.
Al-Khulais beat Al-Boroj by 30 runs. Al-Khulais scored 225-9. Javed and Hafiz Ismael scored 47 each, while Zahid Bhatti and Basharat 30 each and Amir Bhatti 21. Al-Boroj gave away 34 extras. Babar and Usman claimed 2 wickets each for 38 and 43 runs. Kamran and Fayaz bagged one each. Al-Boroj was restricted to 195-8. Usman hit 45, Kamran 55, Siddique 27 and Babar 24. Amir Bhatti claimed 3-33, Hafiz Ismael 2-33 and Hasnain 2-23.
