Waqas, Fazal and Zohaib shine in MCL

MADINAH — Fazal and Waqas hit centuries in Cricket Ke Badshah T20 Tournament 2014 sponsored by MoneyGram.
In all 21 MCL clubs are taking part in the competition. The teams are divided into four groups. The tournament will be played on league-cum-knockout basis. The event is managed by Saudi Cricket Centre and organized by Madinah Cricket League.
Asian Plastic Factory racked up 254 against Fuchs Alhamrani with Waqas hammering 146 (18 fours and 3 sixes) while Aleem scored 46 and Yusuf 32. Fuchs was bundled out for 218. Fazal blasted 103 runs (13 fours and 3 sixes), while Tauseef added 25 and Rashid 23. Sarfaraz took 2 wickets.
Shaheen total of 141 proved enough against Kashmir XI. Bilal scored 50, Ashfaque 15 and Naved Wito 20. Zohaib grabbed 5 wickets and Imran took 4. Only Saleem (33) helped Kashmir XI reach three figures and were all out for 118.
UCC piled up 181 thanks to Saleem 80, Waheed 27 and Sameer 25 against Madinah Stars. Nadeem grabbed 2 wickets. Madinah Stars in reply were held for 111. Mustafa made 28 while Aamir took 3 wickets, while Khurram, Imtiyaz and Naved had 2 each.
My Care Hala White totaled 191 as Allah Ditta hit 63, Shoaib 30 and Ali 20. Asif had 2 wickets for Shabab XI, who in reply crumbled for just 89. Afsar Khan scored 32. Allah Ditta picked up 4 wickets whereas Noor had 2 for 11.
Pak Madinah, batting first, totaled 187 as Aijaz scored 81 and Hammad Saeed 49. Faisal picked up 3 wickets and Ajmal had 2. Pak United could manage 150 as Kashif Awan scored 34, Sabahat 26 and Ramazan Nakyana 40. Aijaz took 4, Mohsin 3 and Shahid 2 wickets for Pak Madinah.
Crown Steel blasted 196 through Sajid Commando 52 and Irfan 33. Shahzad took 2 wickets for MSCC, which was held at 160 in reply. Shahzad hit 42 while Yusuf scored 34. Javed grabbed 3 and Irfan and Tauseef had 2 wickets each.
My Care Hala tallied 195 in allotted 18 over with Musawwir thrashing 80 in 43 balls, Azeem Shahzad scored 49 and Yunus hit 35. Saad of MCC took 4 wickets. MCC was restricted to 173 as Basheer hit 53 and Majeed 68. Yunus took 3 and Hasnain 2 wickets.
Pak Kashmir posted 153 with Abdulrauf hitting 42. Imran, Saeed and Waheed took 2 wickets each. Crown Blue chased the target as Imran made 47, Shahbaz 43 and Zahid 39. Awaali Kings made 106 for 8 with Aijaz making 31 and Tariq 29. Hamza took 4 wickets. My Care Hala Young Stars reached the target in just 60 balls as Abdullah hit 6 fours and 2 sixes to compile 56. Mohsin scored 43 (6 fours and a six).
