RIYADH — Al Nassr have completed the signing of French winger Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich, in a blockbuster move that reflects the Riyadh club's ambition to dominate competitions in the coming seasons. The 29-year-old was unveiled Friday by Al Nassr sporting director Siaô Coutinho, donning the club's No. 21 jersey. The contract extends until 2028, with German and international media including Sky Sports and Bild reporting the deal is worth €30 million including incentives. Coman is set to earn an annual salary between €20–25 million. Coman joined Bayern in 2015 from Juventus, initially on loan, before sealing a permanent transfer in 2017. During a decade-long stint in Bavaria, he won nine Bundesliga titles, three DFB-Pokals, and famously scored the winning goal in the 2020 UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain — a moment that earned him the nickname "the Bavarian King" among fans. His career began in the suburbs of Paris, where he won Ligue 1 with PSG as a teenager. He added a Serie A title and Italian Cup with Juventus before cementing his legacy at Bayern as one of Europe's most decorated players. In total, Coman registered around 40 goals in over 185 appearances for the German champions. However, his journey was not without challenges. A string of injuries — including ankle and knee issues — sidelined him for more than 100 matches across his Bayern tenure and cost him a spot in France's 2018 World Cup-winning squad. His most recent setback was a medial knee ligament tear in January 2024. Despite his injury record, Coman remains a game-changing presence when fit, capable of deciding big matches with pace, flair, and decisive end-product — attributes that Al Nassr hope will propel them to glory under new head coach Jorge Jesus. The winger joins a star-studded roster that includes Cristiano Ronaldo, João Félix, Sadio Mane and Iñigo Martínez.
