REDTAG launches zany and stylish 'Back to School' collection as schools reopen across KSA
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 02 - 09 - 2021

REDTAG, the region's homegrown value fashion and homeware brand, has launched its 'Back to School' collection, to go with the resumption of in-person learning in schools across the KSA. In keeping with the positivity associated with students coming back to campuses, after an extended period of online classes due to pandemic concerns, REDTAG has pulled out all stops for the selections on offer.
Heavy on leisurewear, jeans, tee shirts, sneakers, and colourful schools bags, the REDTAG 'Back to School' collection even features COVID appropriate masks, complete with catchy images and graphics. The collection also features selections drawn from the brand's highly successful character-wear range of garments — a global trend that REDTAG has had great success with, by bringing the largest selection of licensed images, to the KSA fashion market.
These selections are inspired by iconic superheroes, comic and fantasy characters, which have proved to be particularly popular among kids, tweens, and teens; although character-wear is featured in the brand's fashion offerings for adults of all ages, as well.
Commenting on the launch, Mohammed Khalid, head of buying – non apparel at REDTAG, said, "Our customers have come to expect special delights, as part of every REDTAG collection. This year we have already had a lot of success with our seasonal collections, our Eid specials, and our other offerings as well; but this 'Back to School' collection is particularly close to the hearts of everyone at REDTAG."
"The pandemic related restrictions have been particularly hard on our kids, who've spent months away from their best friends. Keeping in touch digitally is okay, but it cannot replace the wonderful social interactions that children are able to have, during in-person learning. We wanted this collection to be a collective exuberant expression of joy and optimism; for kids, their parents, teachers, and the entire community associated with each school," Mohammed added.
In keeping with this intention to make the reopening of schools across the KSA particularly memorable this year, the REDTAG 'Back to School' collection has everything that trendy and fashion conscious young ladies and gentlemen across the region need, to put their best foot forward, for a long-awaited trip, 'Back to School'. — SG
