ACES to meet Deccan Knights in Muhammad Iqbal Memorial Cup Final Shad, Bilal, Najeeb, Adnan, Usman excel

ACES will meet Deccan Knights in the final of the 3rd Muhammad Iqbal Memorial (MIM) Cup, which is being played in honor and memory of JCA Late CEO Muhammed Iqbal Choudhary, the man who ruled hearts of cricketers for 38 years. The event is organized by Jeddah Cricket Association under the auspices of Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation.
In Week 3, quarterfinals Deccan Knights beat Kashmir Stags by 8 wickets thanks to Najeeb's brilliant 96 runs, but unlucky to miss his well-deserved century by 4 runs, while Nasir's (52) knock ended in vain. Center System Group did short work of United XI thrashing them by 7 wickets mainly due to Usman Butt fine spell of 5 for 25 and Adnan Ayub unbeaten 64, with Zaid (62) knock ending up on the losing side.
In the first semifinal ACES beat Makkah Eagles in thrilling match tied at 206 runs for both teams with Shad Khan leading from the front with superb century 111 runs, match was decided in super over in which ACES scored 13 runs while Makkah Eagles managed 2 runs to give ACES a 11 runs win.
In the other semifinal Deccan Knights comfortably beat Center Systems Group by 7 wickets courtesy Bilal Mughal who scored an aggressive 84 runs and got good support from Najeeb (57), despite Adnan Ayub entertaining knock of 74 runs ending up on the losing side.
