DPS, IISR and PISR record victories

RIYADH — International Indian School Riyadh (IISR) Academy (U-16), Delhi Public School (DPS) (U-16) and Pakistan International School Riyadh (PISR) Naseriya (U-19) won over their rivals in the fifth week of Saudi Gazette Inter-School T-20 Cricket Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket League and sponsored by Saudi Gazette.
Mukul, Fahad and Ahsan stole the show by displaying outstanding all-round performances.
In the first Under-16 match, IISR Academy won by 80 runs against Pakistan International School Riyadh Sulaiymaniyah A (PISR-A). Batting first, IISR made 228-6. Mukul remained unbeaten on 128, Nabeel made 21 and Yahya 13. Fouzan took 2 wickets, while Hamza and Asad got 1 each.
In reply, PISR Sulaimaniyah was all out for 148. Its main scorers were Athar 35, Shyaan 24 and Hamzaullah 23. Mukul, Akkifin and Mazin took 2 wickets each, while Saif, Zohair and Masood claimed 1 each.Mukul of IISR was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match.
In the second Under-16 match, DPS defeated IISR by 5 wickets. Batting first, IISR made 148-6 through Razil 44 not out, Sajid 27 and Zainuddin 14 not out. Rajiv took 3 wickets, Hamza 2 and Fahad 1.
In reply, DPS achieved the target for the loss of 5 wickets in 18 overs. Fahad played well and remained unbeaten on 40. Rajiv hit 17 not out and Yusuf 14. Easa grabbed 4 wickets and Antony 1. Fahad of DPS was named the Man-of-the-Match.
In the third match, PISR Naseriya (U-19) defeated IISR (U-19) by 10 runs. Batting first, PISR Naseriya scored 189-7. Ahsan top scored with an unbeaten 79. Yasir made 26 and Abdulrahman 21. Bilal took 3 wickets, while Fouzan, Noor and Irfan got 1 each.
In reply, IISR could manage only 179-4. Hisham made 97 not out and Abdulrahman 16 not out. Farhan took 2 wickets, while Yasir and Ahsan claimed 1 each. Ahsan of PISR Naseriyah won the Man-of-the-Match award.
