IISR-A, PISR and IISR prevail

RIYADH — IISR-A, IISR and PISR won their matches in the third week of the Saudi Gazette Inter-School Cricket Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket League, at the RCL Complex here recently.
IISR-A beat IIPS by 52 runs in the Under 16 section. IISR-A opted to bat first and put on a massive total of 193-3 in 20 overs. Mukul was unbeaten on 107 runs with 12 hits to the fence. Abdul Raheem made 59. Ammar took 2 wickets and Heymant one.
In reply, IIPS made 141-9. Bilal made 30 and Ashar 18. Mazin took 5-12 in 3 overs, Masood 3 and Mukul one.
Mukul of IISR-A was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match for his century and one wicket.
In the second Under-16 match, PISR-Naseriya defeated IISR-B by 9 runs.
Opting to bat first, PISR made 161-6. Haseeb hit 57, Bilal 33 and Nawaz 28. Zain took 3 wickets, Irfan 2 and Faisal one.
In reply, IISR-B started the innings carefully, but could reach only 152-9 in 20 overs. Sajid contributed 45, Vaishek 13 and Sunny 12. Bolwing a good line and length, Haseeb, Bilal and Salman claimed 2 wickets each, while Jamshaid and Sulaiman got one each.
Haseeb, who made 57 and took 2 wickets for PISR, won the Man-of-the-Match award.
In the third match, IISR downed PISES by 47 runs in the Under 19 section. IISR batted first and scored 193-3. Hisham Sheikh top scored with 79. Ateeq made 61. Kaleem took 2 wickets and Bilal one.
In reply, PISES managed 146-9 through Ziyad 21 not out and Osama 17. Hisham took 4-20 in 4 overs. Faisal took 2 wickets, while A. Rahman, Aiman and Fuwzan claimed one each.
Hisham of IISR was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match for his all-round performance.
