Aiming to deliver added-value, the services include the free delivery and installation of BRAVIA television sets, product seminars to familiarize customers with their products, and a “Get Me Started” (GMS) package. The service ensures a seamless transition from the point of purchase to usage. On products such as notebooks, support is extended to register the device on Sony's International Repair Service Program (warranty), set up Internet and email, duplicate the recovery disc, and cater to related requirements of the customer. For a nominal fee of SR 99 or SR149, this service allows users to power-on and use the notebook immediately. With these nine Sony World showrooms in Saudi Arabia, Sony aims to further expand its presence and services to complement the rapidly growing customer base in the country.
