The third week of action saw Hala Academy White down QRCC by 96 runs. Batting first Hala White scored 218-9 with Furqan top scoring with 52 off 27 balls. Jahanzeb made 44 to add 99 runs along with Furqan (52) for the first wicket. Shahid later added a quick-fire 44. Saleem Shaikh took 4-35 and Yasir 3-33. In reply, QRCC crumbled for 122. Yasir made 30 and Aamir added 24. Shahid took 3-12, Saqlain 2-24 and Sajid 2-16. ALJ Toyota racked up 253 in 18 overs against Elite XI. Imran remained unbeaten on 129 off 51 balls (18 fours and 4 sixes) as he added 137 with Rifaqat (60 off 31 balls). Arsalan took 2-52. Elite XI, chasing more than 14 runs per over, was bowled out for 112 to lose by 143 runs. Rayyan made 27 and Asim 25. Tanveer took 3-22 and Imtiyaz 2-25. In another match Al-Mazroi XI, batting first against M.Q. Group, piled up 174-6. Faisal hammered an unbeaten 81 off 43 balls (9 fours), Sayeed made 33 and Farook 25. Fawaz claimed 2-38 and Muqeem 2-40. M.Q. Group, in reply, could only get to 173-5 in the stipulated overs to lose by one run. Atif made 38, Kifayat 35 and Shakeel remained not out on 24. Teenager Mubeen took 2-22. Another tie saw Arabian Auto Agency (AAA) post 138-7 against Jeddah Royals. Sadiq Memon hit 42, while skipper Naved Nawaz added 29. Abid took 2-19, while Ayyub and Ibrahim had identical figures of 2-26. Jeddah Royals remained stranded at 116-9. Peer Sohail top scored with 37, while Abid added 21.
