Amaq T-20 semifinals lineup set

Eid set up its Amaq Contracting T-20 Super Cup Super Division semifinal against Jawar AlJazira, while Mehran will face Friends after securing crucial wins here recently.
The last round of matches saw Al-Eid Cricket Club beat Jawar Al-Jazira by 14 runs. Batting first Al-Eid set a target of 151 runs, the lowest total posted by Al-Eid. Arshad scored 40 runs, while Arslan added 25 and Arshad Junior 26. Asim of Jawar bagged three wickets, while Rizwan, Zaheer and Abbas claimed two each.
Jawar, in reply, could not reach the target and was bowled out for 135 runs. Rizwan scored 59 runs. Al-Eid bowled and fielded well to defend the total. Saleem took three wickets and Moaz two. Saleem of Al-Eid was declared the man of the match.
Another match saw Friends beat Cricket Samarwa by 49 runs. Batting first Friends made 237 runs. Sajid Cheema of Friends was in good touch and made 128 runs. He was well-supported by Raja Waseem (25 runs) and Majid (24). Samarwa will have to improve its fielding after its sloppy show in the field and dropped catches. Aamir and Noman took two wickets each. Cricket Samarwa in reply was restricted to 188 runs. Waseem made 68 runs, while Abubaker added 44 and Asif Sheikh 23. Raja Imran and Hassen took three wickets each. Sajid Cheema of Friends picked up the man of the match award.
The third match saw Mehran Cricket Club beat NAB Cricket Club by six wickets. Batting first NAB scored 139 runs. Zahid 22, Raja Ejaz 21 and Moazzam 20 were the main scorers. Fakher of Mehran took three wickets, while Shehzad and Assad took two each. Mehran reached the target in the 16th over. Assad Khan made 52 runs, Usman Shah 29, Murad 26 and Shehzad 25. Faheem Shah took two wickets. Assad Khan of Mehran was declared the man of the match.
Another match saw Jawar Al-Jazira thrash Friends by seven wickets. Batting first Friends made 224 runs. Cheema made 58, Sajid Khan 51 and Abdulwahid 46. Faizan took three wickets, while Ejaz and Asim claimed two each. Jawar was home off 18.5 overs. Rizwan Manzoor made 55 runs. He got good support from Ejaz (54) and Javed (51). Mohsin played a decisive innings of 43 runs. The all-round performance of Ejaz of Jawar Al-Jazira won him the man of the match honors. Another outing saw NAB defeat Cricket Samarwa by 64 runs. Raja Ejaz's century for the winning side won him the man of the match award.
