JEDDAH — Jeddah Dawah Center (JDC) Veterans of Jon Shareef Castillo defeated Khalidia 40s 102-98 for the third place in the 40 & Above Division of the Titan Watch-JBL Basketball Tournament at the Nazeeh and Wartah (AlBaik) Park in Khalidia here. JDC tried hard and pulled off a come-from-behind win. Callueng poured in 39 points for the winner and was adjudged the Titan Watch best player of the game, while Batalon scored 36 points for the loser. This tournament is principally sponsored by Titan Watch of Al-Hussaini & Al-Yahya Investment Group (Othman Al-Hussaini) with the co-sponsor Giordano Fashions (Ahmadullah) and Ric Printing. Wasalak 40s of Jun Soriano beat R Printing 40s 90-86 for the championship in the 40 & Above Division. Aquino top scored with 22 points for the winner and was named the Giordano best player of the game. Cobre and Pepito led the loser with 21 points apiece. Knights of coach Rey Maddatu won over Movenpick 87-78 to advance into the Group B Best-of-Three Championship series. Solar scored 28 points for the winner and was selected as the JBL best player of the game. Ancheta collected 33 points for the loser. R Printing of Migz Diaz defeated Clash of Friends 104-96 for the third place, also in Group B Division. Magno top scored with 41 points for the winner and was adjudged the Titan Watch best player of the game. Gadiana collected 28 points for the loser. Maragtas Black beat Sidlak White 85-81 in the Parents Division as Balaba scored 31 points for the winner. Joson had 29 points for the loser. In the JBL Teens Mosquitos, Orange defeated Yellow 38-20. Mayo chipped in with 15 points. Blue beat Red 39-24 as De Borja scored 11 points. White defeated Black 30-22. Hamza collected 9 points.
