JDC Veterans bounce back

JEDDAH — JDC Veterans of Shareef Castillo beat Eagles 98-89 in the Titan Watch–JBL Tournament at the Khalidia basketball court here.
JDC Veterans played their offense well in the final quarter. Rayan Manlangit top scored with 27 points for the winner and was adjudged the Titan Watch best player of the game while Teddy Jamahali Pasugnod chipped in with 25 points for the loser.
This tournament is principally sponsored by Titan Watch of Al-Hussaini & Al-Yahya Investment Group (Othman Al-Hussaini). The co-sponsors are Giordano Fashions (Ahmadullah), Red Line Diner (Francis Odinar Magat) and Ric Printing.
Khalidia 40's of coach Ronnie Carino defeated R Printing 84-75 in the 40 and Above Division. Cabachete poured in 34 points for the winner.
In the Weak B Division, Knights of coach Rey Madattu defeated Saudia
Catering 95-82. Garcia chipped in with 19 points for the winner and was selected as the Giordano best player of the game. Nuevo scored 29 points for the loser.
Clash of Friends of Noel Quito beat R Printing 116-107. Aquino and Gadiana led the winner with 25 points apiece and were named the Titan Watch best players of the game. Soliveres top scored with 38 points for the loser.
Tetra Pak of Frederick Vasquez won over KGT 71-67. Collado hit 25 points for the winner and was adjudged the JBL best player of the game. Liam collected 23 points for the loser.
In the JBL Teens, Junior Black beat Midget Mix White 80-70 in the tuneup games for the Riyadh Regional Games. Saleh contributed 26 points.
Blue defeated Black 80-47 in the parents' tuneup game. Coach Carbo chipped in with 16 points. White beat Yellow 89-87 as Del Rosario scored 20 points. Violet defeated Black 119-96 in the Mix Juniors Seniors Division. Densen Dolloso scored 28 points.
In the Mosquito Division (10 years old and below): Black beat Yellow 24-19 as Olivo hit 15 points. Orange defeated Red 25-20 on the strength of EJ Bismonte's 13 points. Black beat White 31-24. Dimaro contributed 12 points.
