MADINAH — ASDAF XI defeated IDB Greens in the final to emerge champion of the Madinah Cricket League (MCL) T20 Tournament. IDB Greens won the toss and elected to bat first. It made 206 runs for 8 wickets. Omer smashed 51 from 26 deliveries. Barket supported him with 48. Tariq chipped in with 26. Some good partnerships were made and a reasonable target was set by IDB. Yousaf took 2 wickets, while Qasim and Nasir got 2 each. 0ASDAF XI, while chasing a very good total, showed its class and teamwork. In-form Wajhi made 57 off 24 balls. Gohar hit 44 and Irfan Fani 42 from just 16 balls. ASDAF won the match in 18.1 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. Omer took 2 wickets and Aleem 1.
