JEDDAH — Hyderabad Warriors, did well to post a challenging total of 144 against Prime XI that was propelled by Mohid's 33 while Habib later bagged 3 valuable wickets. The Warriors' tally proved too big for Prime XI, who lost regular wickets in the chase.
Challengers CC medium pacer Badruddin took 6 wickets against Hyderabad Royals, who then failed to check Yaqoob, who blasted 59 runs in just 20 deliveries, as the Royals faded. Yaqoob effort was his best score.
Another thrilling game saw KSA Green on the right side of the result, notching up a win over KSA Red. KSA Red openers Abdul Jalil and Ghayas gave a flying start to maintain 10 runs per over in first 5 overs, but Sarfaras then took 6 wickets to skittle KSA Red for 102. KSA Green then easily scored the required 103 to win.
Dream India Group, a real estate development company from Hyderabad, sponsors the tournament. Morning Session
AD Royals scored 59 in 13.5 overs. In reply, Yorkshire reached 61-3 in 8.5 overs and win by 7 wickets. Naser was named the Man of the Match for his 3 wickets.
Jeddah Gladiators posted 173-6 in 16 overs. In reply, Jouf Jeddah Strikers were unable to reach the target and were held to 155-8 in 16 overs. Abdul Manan was declared the Man of the Match for his 103 in 43 balls.
Hyderabad Warriors beat Prime XI by 26 runs. Hyderabad Warriors scored 144-7 In 16 overs. In reply, Prime XI was bowled out for 118 in 16 overs. Mohid was declared the Man of the Match for his 33 runs and 2 wickets.
Jeddah Cricket Kings scored 123-6 in 16 overs. Elite CC then came close to achieve the target and scored 121-8 in 16 overs. Imtiyaz was declared Man of the Match for 54 runs and 2 wickets.
Afternoon Session
Bhatkal scored 165-9 in 16 overs, while Zamil CC managed to score 138-9 in 16 overs. Hammad was named the Man of the Match for scoring 39 and taking 4 wickets.
Spark XI posted 109-9 in 16 overs, and then Reliance CC reached the target scoring 113-4 in 10.5 overs. Masood was awarded the Man of the Match for 56 off 33 balls.
Challengers CC scored 150-8 in 16 overs against Hyderabad Royals, who were then bowled out for 105 in 14.3 overs. Yaqoob was adjudged the Man of the Match for his 59 runs in 20 deliveries. KSA Red scored 102 in 15.4 overs, which was overhauled by KSA Green, who reached 108-5 in 10.1 overs for 5 wickets win. Sarfaras was named Man of the Match for his brilliant 6 wickets haul.
