Record chase by Jouf Jeddah Strikers against Nazar Guys in JPL

JEDDAH — Jouf Jeddah Strikers chased 204 runs and beat Nazar Guys by 6 wickets to remain unbeaten in the JPL Dream India Cup Tournament here in its fourth week. The tournament is sponsored by Dream India Group, a real estate development company from Hyderabad. Among the co-sponsors are: Sunshine School from Hyderabad, India, Mahmood Saeed Beverage Industry, Elite Business Group, Paradise Hotel, Parvaz Hotel, Bawarchi Hotel, Khind, Halwani, Fusion 9 and Nestle.
The tourney is organized by Jeddah Premier League (JPL) under the aegis of Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC).
Morning Session
Nazar Guys, batting first, made 202-9 in 16 overs and in reply Jouf Jeddah Strikers scored 204-4 in 15.3 overs. Mastan Rasheed was named Man of the Match for his unbeaten 132 runs in 53 deliveries.
ICC Royals posted 123 in 16 overs. Spark 11 easily hit 125 for 4 wickets in 13 overs. Omar was selected as the Man of the Match for his all round performance — 34 runs and 3 wickets.
United Brothers scored 155 for 6 in 16 overs. In reply, KSA Red was held to 99-9 in 16 overs. Amir Khan was declared the Man of the Match for his 5 crucial wickets.
Jeddah Gladiator tallied 219-5 in 16 overs, and in reply, Eleven Brothers managed 144-6 in 16 overs. Asif, who hit 135 runs in 50 balls, was named Man of the Match.
Coastal Gladiator downed Gulbarga CC by 22 runs. Coastal Gladiator scored 117-9 in 16 overs, and in reply, Gulbarga CC scored 94-9. Nizam was declared Man of the Match award for his 3 wickets.
Azizia Deccan Royals pipped Hyderabad Strikers by 7 runs. Azizia Deccan Royals posted 116 in 14.2 overs. Hyderabad Strikers, in reply, were bowled out for 109. Nadeem Rasheed of Royals was adjudged the Man of the Match for his 3 wickets.
Afternoon Session
Friends Cricket Club humbled Azizia Deccan Avengers by 68 runs. Friends Cricket Club put up 129-8. In reply, Azizia Deccan Avengers was bundled out for 61 in 13 overs. Munna was declared the Man of the Match for his 4 wickets.
Aziza Deccan, batting first, made 164-6 in 16 overs. Yorkshire chased 170-7 in 15.2 overs. Touseef was declared the Man of the Match for his brilliant performance 73 runs in just 28 balls.
Elite thumped Super Chargers by 47 runs. Elite posted 161-6 in 16 overs, and in reply, Super Chargers were held to 114-8. Safwan Safi was declared the Man of the Match for his 64 runs in just 32 deliveries.
Khind routed Hyderabad Warriors by 51 runs. Khind, batting first, scored 167-6 in 16 overs. Hyderabad Warriors were bundled out for 116 in 15.3 overs. Khind's Mustafa, 57 in 26 balls, was named the Man of the Match.
