Azizia Deccan, Barkatiya XI, Challengers CC and KSA Green win in JPL

JEDDAH — Azizia Deccan, Challengers CC, Barkatiya 11 and KSA Green began their quests with thrilling wins in the 5th week of the tournament, sponsored by Dream India Group, a real estate development company from Hyderabad. Among the co-sponsors are: Sunshine School from Hyderabad India, Mahmood Saeed Beverage Industry, Elite Business Group, Paradise Hotel, Parvaz Hotel, Bawarchi Hotel, Khind, Halwani, Fusion 9 and Nestle.
The tourney is organized by Jeddah Premier League (JPL) under the aegis of Saudi Cricket Center (SCC).
Morning Session
Al Fuzail CC scored 77 in 16 overs. In reply, Coastal Gladiator reached 79 without loss in 8 overs and won. Dani was named the Man of the Match for his 33 runs and 5 wickets.
Azizia XI posted 136 for 6 in 16 overs. In reply, Jeddah Gladiator reached the target by scoring 138-2 in 8.1 overs. Asif was declared the Man of the Match for his 84 runs in just 29 balls.
Challengers Cricket Club beat Jeddah Super Kings by 121 runs. Challengers Cricket Club scored 221-7 In 16 overs. In reply, Jeddah Super Kings was bowled out for 100 in 12 overs. Noel was declared the Man of the Match for his 71 runs and 2 wickets.
Prime XI scored 95-7 in 16 and in reply Yorkshire reached the target easily, 96-4, in 12.2 overs. Tahseen was declared Man of the Match for his 50 runs.
KSA Yellow put on 111 in 15.2 overs. In reply, Bhatkal CC chased the target getting 112-4 in 12 overs. Arfath was adjudged the Man of the Match for his 3 wickets.
Afternoon Session
Hyderabad Warriors scored 142-6 in 16 overs, and in reply, KSA Blue were held to 140 in 15 overs. Zubair was named the Man of the Match for scoring 59 and taking 2 wickets.
Salama Falcons posted 94 in 13.1 overs, but Barkatiya 11 reached 97-3 in 10.4 overs. Ejaz was awarded the Man of the Match for 51 off 29 balls.
Zamil Cool Care scored 98 in 15.3 overs, and in reply, Azizia Deccan Avengers reached 101/7 in 14.5 overs. Mushtaq was adjudged the Man of the Match for his 22 runs and 2 wickets.
Gulbarga CC scored 106-10 in 15.3 overs. In reply, KSA Green easily reached 109-3 in 8.1 overs. Omar was the Man of the Match for his brilliant 46 runs in 32 balls.
Azizia Deccan scored 129-6 in 16 overs. Sunrisers Hyderabad, in reply, managed 98/6 in 16 overs. Taskeen was declared the Man of the Match for his 24 runs and 1 wicket.
