Impressive display of artworks at PISJ Aziziyah

Jeddah – "Our students are the investment for our future, and their value increases with time as they shine brighter for their country." These thoughts were expressed by Vice Principal Farhat-un-Nisa during an Home Economics and Fine Art exhibition to encourage the participating students.
A spectacular Home Economics and Fine Arts Exhibition was held in Pakistan International School Jeddah, Aziziyah. The institute has been polishing and nurturing the talent for a long time now. The school excels in academic, scientific and artistic fields.
Chief Guest of the exhibition was Dr. Sonia Sheryar, wife of the Consul General who expressed her delight on the hard work of the students. The vice principal appreciated her for taking time out from her busy schedule, and for showing keen interest in the exhibition.
Under the aegis of Principal Mohammad Bilal, the school's performance is exemplary in every field whether academic or extracurricular. Students prepared for the exhibition under the supervision of in charge of home economics department Nuzhat Rafi and Abida Naushad. It unveiled marvelous flower decoration, rally work, paintings and applied art with thread and metal work.
Filz Anwar, fine art in charge, worked on a project of reusing the extra and waste material from home and making them into a piece of art. Paper work display received tremendous appreciation and was the center of attention in the two-day exhibition.
On the sidelines, the four school houses Khadija, Fatima, Mariyum and Aisha performed vivacious tableaus on traditional and national songs. Link Officer Muhammad Saeed Sarwar attended the exhibition especially to acknowledge the talent of students and success of the exhibition. Several schools of Jeddah showed up to see the magnificent artwork.
Vice Prinicpal, Farhat-un-Nisa thanked the wife of consul general and all the guests for attending and making the event successful. In addition, she appreciated Principal Bilal for his continuous support and encouragement.
The winners of the exhibition were acknowledged by the VP. Khadija Mehboob and Sidrah Ghulam from 12-H, and Rahat Naseer, Ayesha Lateef and Warda Zulfiqar from 12 J were the winners of the event.
