MCH Premier wins 6th straight

JEDDAH - MCH Premier continued its unbeaten stint with an impressive 28-run win over Saudi German Hospital while Rahil Subhani of MCH Green inked his way in the record books with a record haul of 7-42 in the 6th week matches of CIT SPL T20.
The tournament is being organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA) and sponsored by Canadian International Trading. Among the co-sponsors are: Initial Services, Ace Travel, Hyderabad Sharks, Pepsi, Khind Electronics, Maui Jim Sunglasses, Mizo Juices and Bison.
Eng. Mohammad Afzal, general manager of Landscaping Division, Initial Services Group, was the chief guest on the occasion.
MCH Premier continued its march with 6th win in 6 outings to keep itself at the top of the table with a 28-run win over Saudi German Hospital.
MCH Premier posted 185 for 8 in 20 overs. Baber Hussain hit 42, Irfan 31, Naeem 30 and Hafiz Jaffer 20. Omar claimed 2-27, Rashed 2-48 and Irfan 2-33. Saudi German Hospital was restricted to 157-5 in 20 overs. Waqas blasted 52 and Izhar 42. Kashif Shafiq claimed 2-20. Kashif Shafiq of MCH Premier was named the Man of the Match.
Elsewhere, Rahil Subhani inked his way into record books with a record haul of 7 wickets for 42 to hand MCH Green a 5-wicket win over bottom of the table KAIA. Hala International School thrashed Peeran XI by 106 runs thanks to an elegant 75 from Zahid. Ace Travel shot MB Stars with a 40-run win riding on a quick-fire 58 from Moazzam Shaukat. Naseem Al-Zahra edged Pepsi Deccan Knights by 6 runs with a good spell of 4-18 by Adnan.
MCH Green beat KAIA by 5 wickets. KAIA 184 - Sami 39, Majid 39, Javed 29, Fahad 24; Rahil Subhani 7-42, Rana Shehzad 2-25. MCH Green 186-5 in 19.2 overs - Baber 58, Qadir 39, Zameer 27 not out. Man of the Match - Rahil Subhani.
Hala International School thumped Peeran XI by 106 runs. Hala International School 213-4 in 20 overs - Zahid 75, Shahjahan 55, Jawwad 28. Peeran XI 107 - Rafaqath 2-14, Imran 2-14, Javed 2-22. Man of the Match - Zahid.
ACE Travel downed MB Stars by 40 runs. ACE Travel 203-9 - Moazzam 58, Asif 42, Abdul Wahed 38, Bilal 28; Zia 3-24, Ateeq 2-25, Hasan 2-37. MB Stars 163 - Ateeq 44, Javed 38, Ameeq 20; Rashed 2-37, Abdul Raheem 2-45, Samiullah 2-25. Man of the Match -Moazzam.
Naseem Al-Zahra edged Pepsi Deccan Knights by 6 runs. Naseem Al-Zahra 175 - Aamir Wahla 55, Osman Butt 35, Asim 27. Abdul Quddus 4-23, Abdul Qadeer 2-29. Pepsi Deccan Knights 169 - Wajid Samdani 34, Sohail Bin Halais 26, Najeeb 22; Adnan 4-18, Asim 3-33. Man of the Match - Adnan.
Rahil Subhani was adjudged the Player of the Week for his taking 7 wickets for 42 and scoring 22.
