Skippers' day at CIT SPL cricket

JEDDAH — Hyderabad Sharks, MB Stars, Pepsi Deccan Knights and Ace Travel scored emphatic wins in the second week matches of the CIT SPL T20 2016 which is sponsored by Canadian International Trading Company (CIT) and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA.
The event is also being co-sponsored by Ace Travel, Bison, Hyderabad Sharks, Initial Services, Khind Electronics, Maui Jim Sunglasses, Mizo Juices of Arrow Foods and Pepsi (SIPCO).
It was skipper's day as all-rounder Ateeq Mansha (52 runs and 2-40), Abdul Quddus (73 and 3-31) and Shahbaz Rasheed (48 and 5-27) led their teams to fine wins.
Hyderabad Sharks thrashed Peeran XI by 8 wickets with all-round performance by Mohammed Shehzad (47 runs and 2-38), Pepsi Deccan Knights scored a 4-wicket win over Malik XI, thanks to Abdul Quddus's fine effort of 3-31 and a match-saving 73 runs, MB Star comfortably beat KAIA by 57 runs, powered by Ateeq Mansha's 52 runs and 2-40, Ace Travel opened its tally with a 131-run win over MCH Green as Sami scored a quick 76, MCH Premier recorded its its second win, supported by Shahbaz Rasheed's unbeaten 48 and 5-27 and Pak Shaheen beat Saudi German Hospital by 35 runs as Ata-ur Rehman hit 29 and took 2-25.

ACE Travel crushed MCH Green by 131 runs. ACE Travel 226-5 (Sami 76, Moazzam 49, Adnan 27, Bilal 26; Rana 2-26, Rahil 2-39). MCH Green 95 all out (Rahil 24; Rahman 3-19, Rashed 2-7, Faheem Pasha 2-16). Man of the Match: Sami.
Pak Shaheen prevailed over Saudi German by 35 runs. Pak Shaheen 202 all out (Osman 30, Ataur Rehman 29, Faisal 25; Irfan 2-29, Taqi 2-31, Ali 2-37, Omar 2-19). Saudi German 167 all out (Jibran 34, Qadir 33; Sulaiman 3-33, Faisal 2-36, Ataur Rehman 2-35, Malik 2-21. Man of the Match: Ataur Rehman.
MB Stars beat KAIA by 57 runs. MB Stars 198-9 (Ateeq Mansha 52, Javed 36, Aamir 22; Ameen 4-37). KAIA 141 all out (Ali Majid 34, Samad 33; Arbab 3-21, Zia 3-26, Ateeq Mansha 2-40). Man of the Match: Ateeq Mansha.
Pepsi Deccan Knights defeated Malik XI by 4 wickets. Malik XI 160-9 (Sagheer 40, Owais 34, Kabeer 32; Abdul Quddus 3-31, Ishaq Baghdadi 2-17, Wajid 2-22). Pepsi Deccan Knights 164-6 in 17.2 overs (Abdul Quddus 73, Akramullah Khan 32 not out; Kabeer 3-39, Waqas 3-25).
