Published in The Saudi Gazette on 13 - 02 - 2016

AlJomaih Automotive Company (AAC), the sole dealer for Cadillac cars in Saudi Arabia, unveiled the new Cadillac CTS-V, 2016, in Saudi Arabia, to join the latest and most exciting models of "V" series.
The launch of this model represents a new era for the luxury car brand "Cadillac" in Saudi Arabia, where major shifts in customers' choice are being formed to choose a car that combines strong performance and luxury simultaneously.
Through offering of this great model, AAC introduces the new "V" series which represents the brand's performance line. The new Cadillac CTS-V will be supported with a strong competitive pricing strategy, which will constitute an important factor to attract clients who wish to own a sports car that enjoys sophisticated features and strong performance such as the new Cadillac CTS-V.
The new Cadillac CTS-V enjoys elegant design and strong chassis to meet the maximum requirements for sports performance. The car is equipped with the world's most advanced engine, including the third-generation of Magnetic Ride Control and Performance Traction Management.
The Magnetic Ride Control reads the road a thousand times per second to ensure the optimal driving control. Third-generation improvements enable 40-percent faster damping response. The CTS-V is backed by new eight-speed automatic transmission featuring launch control and Performance Algorithm Shifting. Automatically selects the perfect gear for faster lap times, or it can be shifted full manual control via steering wheel paddles.
The new Cadillac CTS-V equipped with Brembo brake system, which is offering race car like braking on the track with six-piston front and four-piston rear fixed calipers stopping vented rotors, along with Michelin Pilot Super Sport 19 inch tires with a progressive contact patch and a custom mold shape for maximum grip and stopping power.
The power behind the new CTS-V's capability is an all-new, more powerful 6.2L supercharged V-8 engine that produces 640 hp and 855 NM.
All of these combined forces take the CTS-V, the lightest car in its class, to a top speed of 320 km/h on racetracks, and acceleration from zero to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.
In addition to the standard dual front, front-side, and side curtain air bags, the 2016 CTS-V also comes with rear-side airbags and knee airbags for the driver and front passenger. Standard active safety and driver aids include lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, lane change alert, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and forward collision warning.
The car features four distinctive driving modes (Tour, Sport, and Track & Snow/Ice), electronically calibrate a variety of performance features, optimizing and customizing driving to suit all road conditions.
The CTS-V also has a Performance Data Recorder that captures not only a driver's perspective of the road ahead, but also a host of telemetry data for review at a later date. The system's camera records everything the driver sees directly in front. The system records data on an SD card that lets drivers replay their experiences either on the vehicle's CUE screen or TV screen at a later date.
The rigid sporty design of the car enables the driver to control his lane through 20 adjusting ways. The aura of track-inspired precision carries over to the interior, where the design and the relationship of key components are aimed squarely at performance-driving ergonomics, including a massively thick rimmed steering wheel, beautiful matte carbon fiber detailing and some incredible 16-way adjustable Recaro seats for adjusting the seat and side bolsters. A lightweight carbon fiber hood features an air-extracting vent that not only pulls hot air out of the engine compartment, but helps reduce lift at speed by channeling air pulled through the radiator out and over the top of car rather than allowing trapped air to exit under the car.
Aljomaih Automotive Company began representing General Motors in 1967, and is the largest dealer for General Motors in the Middle East, and one of the largest dealers in the world. AAC has a distinct distribution network covering three main areas in Saudi Arabia as well as other small areas. AAC is the sole dealer for Cadillac in Saudi Arabia. The company offers various services and comprehensive maintenance, plus exclusive services to clients of prime brand Cadillac.
