All-new 2013 Cadillac XTS enthralls car buffs
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 17 - 11 - 2012

Aljomaih Automotive Company (AAC), the largest Cadillac dealer in the Middle East, introduced the all-new Cadillac XTS during the 6th edition of EXCS Luxury Motor Show that was held at the Hilton Hotel Jeddah. True to its regal bearing, the all-new 2013 Cadillac XTS luxury sedan, the most technologically advanced production car in the brand's history, captured the attention of car aficionados who attended the three-day Motor Show.
The Cadillac XTS got high mark and drew the admiration of many notable personalities in the Saudi society. The car's features which offer a vast array of innovations such as the new Safety Alert Seat, and CUE – Cadillac's new exclusive infotainment system – which merges intuitive design with auto industry-first controls for information and media control – enticed the discerning customers.
The new Cadillac XTS comes with a standard direct-injected 3.6 liter V-6 engine and is the only luxury sedan with Magnetic Ride Control – the world's fastest-reacting suspension. In addition, the XTS comes with a standard advanced all-wheel-drive system that uses Haldex technology to transfer power front-to-back, and side-to-side along the rear axle.
Moreover, the XTS comes equipped with a number of advanced and exclusive safety features. It will be the industry's first car with the Safety Alert Seat that uses directional tactile sensation in the driver's seat to warn drivers of crash threats while driving and parking.
Other innovative safety features include Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Auto Braking and Full-Speed-Range Adaptive Cruise Control.
Expressing satisfaction on the highly positive results of the show, David Matta, Premium Brands Director at AAC, assures the ever growing number of customers patronizing Cadillac that the company has always the contentment and safety of the customers as its basic guiding policy. He also said that it was made due to the importance of our presence in such successful Luxury Motor Show, but the car will be available in the Kingdom Showrooms at the beginning of 2013.
Commenting on the enthusiastic outcome of the show for Cadillac, he said “the all-new XTS which redefines our approach to the luxury sedan by combining advanced technology, stunning design and confident performance,” spells the difference, adding that “the XTS brings new and exclusive technology, while still delivering the space and elegance that is Cadillac's DNA.” — SG
