Big win for Jamoom Fighters, Reel & Rom and Sindh XI

JEDDAH — Jamoom Fighters, Reel & Rom and Sindh XI recorded big wins in the 9th week of the Kanoo Premier League sponsored by Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo and organized by JCA.
Usman Butt's brilliant 106 off 55 balls enabled Jamoom Fighters beat KAIA in an exciting match by 3 runs and Irshad's century off 55 balls went in vain as Sindh XI comfortably beat Khulais by 8 wickets, thanks to Suleiman's superb 90 off only 32 balls.
Elsewhere, Afridi's unbeaten 84 enabled Reel & Rom to score an easy 7-wicket win over ECU Lines and Al-Burj beat Kashmir XI by 8 wickets. Sindh XI beat Khulais XI by 8 wickets.
Khulais batted first and scored 179-2. Irshad scored a brilliant unbeaten 100 (55 balls — 11 fours, 5 sixes), while Adil supported him with an unbeaten 47 off 29 balls. In reply, Sindh XI reached 186-2 comfortably. Sulaiman blasted a superb 90 (32 balls — 13 fours, 5 sixes) and Shakeel 20. Later, Mohsin and Ayaz Meer with unbeaten knocks of 38 and 22, respectively, handed their side a win by 8 wickets. Al-Burj beat Kashmir XI by 8 wickets.
Kashmir XI batted first and was bundled out for a paltry 91 with only Bilal (36) offering some resistance as others succumbed to Faizan (3 for 1), Naeem (2-24) and Owais (2-26).
In reply, Al-Burj knocked off the needed runs (92-2) in 12.2 overs as Kamran (29) and Rehan (23 not out) batted with ease. Jamoom Fighters beat KAIA by 3 runs.
Jamoom Fighters reached an imposing total of 235-4 as Usman Butt blasted a scintillating knock of 106 (55 balls, 14 fours, 1 six). He got good support from Naeem (53 — 29 balls, 7 fours, 2 six) and Arshad (21). In reply, KAIA gave a befitting reply in chasing a huge total but fell short by 3 runs as it ended at 232-8. Shad Muhammad scored a stylish 68 (4 fours, 5 six), Javed 26 and Abdul Samad 49 (7 fours, 3 six). Abdul Malik (3-49) and Omar (2-57) bowled well to give their side a narrow win.
Reel & Rom beat ECU Lines by 7 wickets.
ECU Lines recorded 181-8 with Izhar scoring 43 off 22 balls, Imran 36, Junaid 25 and Omar 20. Rasheed (2-34), Irfan (2-31) and Imran (2-16) bowled well. In reply, Reel & Rom reached 183-3 in 16.3 overs with Afridi scoring a flamboyant 84 with 8 fours and 5 sixes. Imran made 29 and Irfan 31 not out to enable Reel & Rom romp home by 7 wickets.
