Last ball win for Jamoom Fighters

JEDDAH — Jamoom Fighters scored a narrow one-wicket win on the last ball of the match against Al-Khulais, while Hyderabad Green ended the winning streak of ECU Lines in the 7th week of the Kanoo Premier League which is sponsored by Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
In the most exciting match of the week, Al-Khulais scored 191-8 with Adil making an unbeaten 67 (7 fours, 3 sixes), Sajid 34 and Irshad 42. Saleem took 4-31. In reply, Jamoom Fighters' Wasim blasted 56 off 25 balls, Arshad 42 off 20 and Adnan 45 off 22. They battled the fine bowling of Munsif (3-33) and Adil (2-24), to enable their team to snatch a win off the last ball, reaching 194-9.
Hyderabad Green upset ECU Lines by 13 runs.
Hyderabad Green rallied to reach 231-8 through Saif (53), Shiraz (39), Asif (44) and Jameel (23). Naeem claimed 2-37. In reply, ECU Lines hit back through Umar (54), Javed (32), Abdul Rahman (43) and Naeem (44). But tight bowling by Safdar (3-36), Bilal (2-31), Jameel (2-29) and Ziaullah (2-26) put the brakes on ECU Lines winning streak by bundling it out for 218.
Sindh XI downed Pak Young by 38 runs. Sindh XI raced to 168-5 with Fahad (27), Ayaz Meer (46) and Chand (42) putting up a good fight. Shahid (3-29) bowled well. In reply, Pak Young was bundled out for 130 with only Noor (23), Yusuf (29) and Jaan (35) offering some resistance as others succumbed to Salman (2-21) and Ashiq (3-23) .
KAIA beat Kashmir XI by 6 wickets. Kashmir XI posted 205-5. Awais Mahmood led the way with a solid 114 off 45 balls with 11 fours and 7 sixes with fine support from Samiullah (35) and Abdul Rahman (22). Ameen, Faisal, Abdullah and Fahad picked up a wicket each. KAIA reached the target of 209 for the loss of 4 wickets. Shad Muhammad blasted his way with a scintillating knock of 140 in only 52 balls with 10 fours and 12 sixes, while Fahad (32 not out) gave good support. Irfan, Sami and Mudassir had a wicket each.
Al-Boroj beat Ittihad by 19 runs. Al-Boroj managed to tally 177-5 with good contributions from Usman (37), Kamran (35) and Rehan (41). Qaisar picked up 2-36. In reply, Ittihad was restricted to 158-6. Azam (41), Mubeen (30), Salim (22) and Jamil (20) contributing their fair share while others succumbed to the bowling of Islam and Faizan who picked up 2 wickets each.
