In separate resignation letters to the Secretariat Generals of each of the Islamic Solidarity Union, Arab Olympic Committees Union and Arab Soccer Federation, Prince Sultan bin Fahd, who was relieved of his post as General President of Youth Welfare of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressed thanks to and appreciation of all members of those sports bodies for their cooperation with him during his presidency terms of them over the past years, wishing them every success. Meanwhile, Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, who is the Executive Deputy of the above-mentioned unions, will run the presidency affairs of those bodies according to regulations. In a statement, Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, extended thanks to Prince Sultan bin Fahd for his efforts to develop Arab and Islamic sports, a move initiated by late Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz. Prince Nawaf bin Faisal disclosed that the general assembly of each of those unions will be invited for extraordinary meetings within one month from now to do whatever should be done according to regulations.
