Prince Sultan bin Fahd inaugurates meeting

Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, President of Youth Welfare and President of Sports Federation for Islamic Solidarity inaugurated here today the 4th meeting of the Federation's General Assembly.
The meeting was attended by Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Vice President of Youth Welfare, Vice President of Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee and Head of the Kingdom's delegation to the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Prince Sultan bin Fahd expressed his appreciation of and thanks to the Saudi leadership for providing material and morale capabilities for the Federation which have contributed to its full success.
Then the President of Sports Federation for Islamic Solidarity awarded 1s rank medal of merits to late Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz for his pioneering role in the Federation's establishment and support. The medal was conferred on Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz.
The president of the Federation also awarded a shield to the Kingdom's government.
Prince Sultan bin Fahd was also conferred on a medal by the Federation's General Secretariat in recognition of his support for the Federation.
In press statements to the Saudi Press Agency, Prince Sultan bin Fahd and Prince Nawaf bin Faisal expressed their appreciation of the Federation for honoring the Kingdom in recognition of its support for Muslims' issues particularly in the field of youth and sports.
