Concluded its extraordinary meeting at the Arab League Headquarters here today, the Executive Bureau of the Council of Arab Environment Ministers agreed on an Arab working plan for the next stage and post-Conference of Copenhagen on Climate Change. In a statement made by him today following the conclusion of the meeting, Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, General President of Meteorology and Environment Protection and Chairman of the Executive Bureau of Arab Environment Ministers Council said that this Arab working plan confirms the commitment of the unified Arab stance declared by the Arab ministerial meeting on environment held last November. He pointed out that the Arab ministerial statement is expressing the collective Arab stance on climate change issues, and is considered as the Arab reference authority to negotiate on climate change issues. -- SPA
