Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, the General President of Meteorology and Environment Protection and The President of the Executive Bureau of Arab Ministerial Council in charge of Environment Affairs said in press statement here today that today's extraordinary session was set to follow up the preparation for tomorrow's meeting of the Arab ministers in charge of the environment. This extraordinary meeting was in an implementation of the Arab leaders' assignment to hold such a meeting to study social and economic issues which will be presented to the next Arab Summit. He pointed out that these issues are aimed at serving the environment in the Arab World and achieving the goals of the sustainable development. The suggestion of launching Arab Satellite to monitor the earth will be on the agenda of the next Arab Summit after the completion of all technical studies, he added.
