Minister of Transport Jubara Al-Suraysri, who is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ports Authority attended here today the contract signing ceremony for the implementation of the project of building the maritime docks and the support area at Jeddah's Islamic Port. The project, worth SR1.662 billion, will take 22 months for completion with the start-up date for construction set at January 1, 2008. It will increase the capacity of the Jeddah Islamic Port by 45%. President of Ports Authority Dr. Khalid Bobshait also attended the signing ceremony.
