His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, arrived in the State of Qatar today on an official visit. Upon his arrival at Doha International Airport, HRH the Crown Prince was received by Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar. HRH the Crown Prince was also received by Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of the Emir of the State of Qatar; Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Emir of the State of Qatar; Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and the accompanying Minister; Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee; Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Head of the Emiri Court; Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan, Saudi Ambassador to the State of Qatar; and Bandar bin Mohammad Al Attiyah, Qatar's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. An official reception ceremony was held for HRH the Crown Prince, where the Saudi Royal and Qatari Emiri anthems were played, and then reviewed the guard of honor. After that, HRH the Crown Prince went to the People's Assembly, where a number of citizens of the State of Qatar greeted His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. HRH the Crown Prince and the Emir of the State of Qatar presided over the sixth meeting of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council. At the outset, the Emir of Qatar welcomed HRH the Crown Prince on his current visit to the State of Qatar, while HRH the Crown Prince expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Emir of Qatar for the warm reception and generous hospitality. During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, while Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani conveyed his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of relations between the two brotherly countries, and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields, as well as the latest developments in regional and international events and the efforts made in their regard. At the conclusion of the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince and the Emir of the State of Qatar signed the record of the meeting of the sixth session of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council.
