A court on Wednesday granted bail to the husband of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, a day after he was arrested for failing to appear at a murder trial, his lawyer said. Asif Ali Zardari was arrested Tuesday and accused of plotting the 1996 slayings of a former judge and his son, just a month after he'd been freed on bail from eight years in jail in connection with other pending court cases. Zardari has pleaded innocence in the slayings. The arrest prevented him from delivering his scheduled address to a major opposition rally near the capital.
