U.S. stocks rose significantly Friday, with the three major indexes hitting new record highs, as the market overcame concerns about economic growth from earlier in the week. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 238.20, or 0.7 percent, to 35,061.55, advancing above 35,000 for the first time. The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 44.31, or 1 percent, to 4,411.79. The technology-heavy Nasdaq composite index rose 152.39, or 1 percent, to 14,836.99.
