In the context of these strategic relations, Saudi Arabia welcomed what was stated in the speech of US President Joe Biden regarding Washington's commitment to cooperating with Saudi Arabia to defend its sovereignty and counter the threats against it, as Riyadh affirmed its firm stance towards the current issues, including the Yemeni crisis, as well as the unilateral ceasefire announced by the coalition in response to US Secretary-General's call, the papers further added . Saudi Arabia has reiterated its continued support for efforts to reach a comprehensive political solution based on three references, represented by the Security Council Resolution (2216), the GCC initiative and its executive mechanism and the outcomes of the Yemeni national dialogue, as it continues its pioneering humanitarian role and its remarkable efforts to alleviate the suffering of Yemeni people and strengthens cooperation and coordination with the United States to deal with challenges in the region, including pushing the peace process forward in the Middle East and putting an end to conflicts in many countries, in addition to enhancing security and stability in the region and the world, the papers concluded.
