Published in Saudi Press Agency on 03 - 01 - 2020

Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that at a time when Saudi Arabia exerts its utmost efforts to develop and implement vital projects and largest relief and humanitarian work in Yemen via King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY), the Houthi militia continues its terrorist crimes.
The newspaper added that the terrorist attack on Aden airport that coincided with the arrival of the plane carrying the members of the new Yemeni government shocked the whole world, as this terrorist attack aims to undermine the role and responsibilities of the legitimate Yemeni government in unifying the Yemeni ranks and achieving security.
The SDRPY has begun its urgent work in rehabilitating Aden airport and harnessing its capabilities to implement all reforms in the affected areas. This action also proves to the world once again the extent of the threat posed by Iran and its terrorist militias on the stability of this important region of the world, as this action requires the international community to stop the Iranian behavior, the paper concluded.
Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the integrated efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in order to achieve comprehensive development in all vital sectors, reflect the government's keenness to achieve the desired quality, which strengthens the state's position regionally and internationally.
The newspaper pointed to the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Al-Khorayef, approval of executive regulations on mining investments system, which includes all necessary procedures and requirements to implement the system in a manner that contributes to achieving the objectives of Vision 2030, as the minister said that the issuance of the executive regulations for the mining investment system comes as a fundamental step towards the development of the mining sector. It will also contribute to achieving the governance of the sector, enhancing transparency, increasing investor confidence, in addition to achieving the elements of sustainability for the sector, as the positive effects of the regulations that have been introduced into the system will be reflected on the investors and the investment environment.
The newspaper concluded that the aforementioned data represent the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which seek to develop and diversify opportunities and sources of income and increase confidence in the investment, commercial and industrial environment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
