The decision was unfolded to regulate and arrange for that purpose, as it is deemed to contribute in striking a balance among the proprietors, in registering the trademarks, on one hand, and not to do harm to the other (s), who may hold the same family name to be registered, on the other hand. In a statement, the authority pointed out that the decision benefits the widely spread and circulated family names as trademarks, for the registration of the trademark shall be saved for its holder's activity he practiced and shall be allowed for another (s), who may practice a different activity, while holding the same family name, to register it, also, as a trademark, in case there are no previously registered family name, as a trademark, in the same domain.
