The Ministry of Health today reported 15 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). The ministry explained that the confirmed cases of two residents from Indonesia and the Philippines who were in contact with a previous reported case of infection. They are quarantined in a health facility in Riyadh. The Ministry added that there are five cases for citizens who were in contact with previous cases. They are quarantined in a health facility in Qatif. The Ministry of Health said that a case for Spanish resident coming from Spain is confirmed. He is quarantined in a health facility in Khobar. The ministry added that there are two cases for two female citizens coming from Spain and the United Kingdom. They are isolated in a health facility in Dhahran. The Health Ministry pointed out that there are two cases for two male and female citizens, the first coming from Iran and the second coming from Iraq. The two cases are quarantined in a health facility in Qatif. The ministry added that a confirmed case for a male citizen coming from Egypt is quarantined in a health facility in Dammam. It added that there are two cases for two male citizens coming from the United Kingdom and Switzerland. They are isolated in a health facility in Jeddah. The Ministry of Health stated that the total number of registered cases of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Kingdom is 118 cases with the recovery of three cases while the rest of cases are currently isolated in health facilities. The ministry pointed out that one of the cases was diagnosed as a critical case, but now, it is improving and receiving a medical care. The Ministry of Health urged all to communicate with the Health Center (937) for any inquiries about COVID-19, warning from rumors about this virus. It is worth mentioning that COVID-19 reached 149 states amid local and global intensive efforts to prevent and eradicate this virus.
