The Ministry of Health (MOH) announced today that the laboratory results confirmed that two female citizens are infected with novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), one of them coming from Iran through the Kingdom of Bahrain and did not disclose her presence in Iran at the Saudi port, and the other coming from Najaf, Iraq through the United Arab Emirates and did not disclose that at the port.
According to the precautionary procedures followed by the competent authorities, upon her arrival at the port, she was transferred directly to the quarantine to take samples for the laboratory examination that proved the infection with the virus and was subsequently transferred to the isolation in the hospital.
MOH assures everyone that all the seven cases that were announced are currently isolated in the hospital, adding that it is dealing with the cases through providing health services in accordance with the approved health procedures.
