Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, welcomed yesterday's agreement between the Transitional Military Council and the Forces for Freedom and Change in Sudan on the arrangements for the transitional period, describing it as a positive and important step that will open the way for Sudan to overcome the circumstances. Al-Zayani expressed his hope that the Sudanese people would go through this delicate phase of a new era of freedom, justice and dignity and the establishment of an economic renaissance.
